I want to talk about a New Year, this day is very special because is a festivity that commemorates the end of old year and beginning of other year.

This holiday, in the occidental part, is celebrated according the Gregorian calendar, on 1 of January, and many countries around the world to celebrate. Now the New Year will be 2012!! And will be celebrate this weekend.

The importance of this event is celebrated with the loved ones, family and friends. Most of the time, people organize a dinner and later they go to a party.

In my case, I go with all my family to Valparaiso and there we see the fireworks and then I go to a celebrated with friends.

I hope that New Year I have fun. Unfortunately this January 2^nd, 2012 I have a presentation for a university subject, so my holiday seems to be very short.

So,  I wish you a Happy New year!!

Today in my free topic, I talk you about my favourite series in this moment “Game of Thrones”. This series is fantastic, because it has everything. Wars, treason, revenge, humor, love, love insane, adventures, and more.

I want to make it clear that this story is the first book in a song of ice and fire by George R.R. Martin, published on 1996 and converted in a television series on 2011 by HBO. The story happens in a fantastic world very similar to  the European Middle Age, where exist the most wonderful magical  creatures and the habitants live in winter for many years.

In this kingdoms exist different houses how the Stark house, is the principal noble house , your characters are the most loyal and are good people. The Baratheon house, the house of the “new king” of the seven kingdoms. The Lannister house, maybe are the most unpleasant, arrogants and disloyals characters in this story, they are the villainous, and the last the Tararyen house, the old kings of the kingdom ,they are blondes brothers that were exilied in the other side of the sea and they to plot to recover the kingdom.

This series has only one tempered, but the second tempered appear in the next year on April.

A new and strange term

The last first half of the year it was very strange and fast. But this new term apparently, is coming very heavy. I hope that we can learn all the contents. In this year I have all the subjects how Structuralism, Ethnology, Ethnography, Methodology, Psychology, English and CFG Aikido.

I feel strange for studying in the summer, is not comfortable because the sun is very hot and the weather is dry.

But the worse about this is the holidays are coming, how Christmas or New Year because this holidays are very important for me, I celebrate these parties with all my family and the ends of December all we start to Valparaiso and then to Olmué. Sadly on this occasion I can’t go.

But I´m ready to do, because all this was for a good cause, for improve the Chilean education.
